Backstory… June 5th, 2024 – I’m happy I had the presence of mind to capture what was happening within, in approaching my prostate cancer treatment. I had decided right out of the gate, to use my own personal experience to help others. I knew, to that end, sharing the numbness I was feeling would be best communicated as it truly was right in that very moment. This first clip, from just over a year ago, brings it all flooding back. Thankfully, my ultimate decision was right for me. Of course, it will be different for others. Ron received a cancer diagnosis the day before his 58th birthday. It all started with a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test, a common blood test given to men to identify issues with their prostate. “It wasn’t super high, but it was high enough that a biopsy was recommended,” said Ron, a commercial real estate business owner in Lodi. Everything progressed pretty quickly after I got my results.
