Did you know that...
- Black men are 76% more likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer and 2.2 times more likely to die from this disease?
- It is essential to get a baseline PSA number and monitor it annually starting at age 40.
- Since the inception of our screening programs, we have encountered aggressive cancers and successfully directed men to appropriate care.
- Approximately 20% of our tested cases require follow-up care or testing.
- The screening is a simple blood test, free of cost, potentially saving men between $40 and $65.
Additional Information
Attendees will also receive a free haircut or shave (on a first-come, first-served basis) and have the opportunity to get their blood pressure and blood sugar levels checked by trained staff.
This is a unique Sunday PSA Clinic, with volunteers generously taking time away from their families to ensure your safety.
